J.D. McCarty Center is committed to empowering our patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare. This includes helping patients understand the cost of care and the availability of financial assistance.

In compliance with federal law, J.D. McCarty Center provides a list of standard charges. These are reviewed on an annual basis. Charges for hospital services are not equivalent to the actual amount paid by insurance companies or patients. The amount paid for services is based on many factors, including health insurance benefit plans, applicable discounts, and services provided based on each patient’s unique needs.

HOW TO USE THIS DATA:

The price‐transparency page on the J. D. McCarty Center website provides a downloadable list of standard hospital charges and links to a “shoppable services” estimator, helping patients and families understand potential costs ahead of services. You should start by downloading the machine-readable CSV of hospital charges, then use the estimator to input your specific service and insurance details. Keep in mind that listed “standard charges” do not reflect what insurance will pay or what you will personally owe, since final costs depend on your plan, negotiated rates, and individual treatment needs. The page also highlights that some charges may only reflect part of a service (e.g., procedure + supplies + drugs), so you’ll want to ask for a full breakdown and contact the billing team (via the phone number listed) to get clarity on your expected out-of-pocket cost.
