McCarty Center response to COVID-19

The J.D. McCarty Center is taking preventative measures to protect the health of our patients, and address COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus.

Outpatient therapies, clinics canceled at this time

The McCarty Center has determined that it is in the best interest of our patients to cancel all outpatient therapies and clinics. The purpose of this decision is to ensure the safety of all the patients we serve. Please know that much thought went into this decision and it was not made lightly.

The center values the opportunity to work with families and children in Oklahoma, and we appreciate your faith in us to provide services to your child. If you have any questions about the cancellation of outpatient services, please feel free to call us at
405-307-2800.

No visitors at center

No visitors are allowed in the center’s main building or hospital units in accordance with guidelines from the Oklahoma Hospital Association, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Health & Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Playground dedication postponed

The McCarty Center is saddened to announce the temporary postponement of our playground dedication ceremony that was originally scheduled for March 27, 2020. The playground dedication ceremony was designed to be a celebration of acceptance and love and actively included our inpatients.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hospital must currently limit inpatient contact with the public, unfortunately delaying this highly anticipated event. We look forward to rescheduling the ceremony in the near future and we'll provide you with information about the new dedication date and time.Thank you for your support!

These precautionary measures are intended to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients we serve. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
