Dance classes offered at center

Aug. 7, 2018

Registration has started for dance classes at the J.D. McCarty Center, which are open to kids with disabilities in the community.
The classes are for kids, ages 4 to 21, and are led by the Expressive Movement Initiative, a student organization from the University of Oklahoma. EMI has hosted a dance program at the center since 2013.
Classes are on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. at the McCarty Center. Classes start Sept. 5 and continue through late November. The students will then participate in a fall recital.
The cost is $70, which covers costumes/props.
